Hannah provides a glimpse of what it’s like working with her.

Hannah M., MSW, LCSW

Right now you are searching for a place where you can exist without judgment—a place where you don’t have to shrink, mask, or explain yourself. Irritability. Sadness. Critique from self and others. I see you and understand the need for release. And, let’s be real—feelings can be straight-up annoying and heavy. As your therapist, I’ll help you build the skills to move through these emotions, life’s challenges, and relationships with more confidence and ease. Together, will create a safe space where you are free to breathe, heal, let go, and be fully, unapologetically you.

I’ll help you swap out unhealthy coping skills for ones that actually serve you—ones that fit who you are and how you want to show up in the world. More than that, I’ll guide you in learning how to love yourself in a way that makes you feel confident and empowered in any situation. Together, we’ll build trust and a connection that helps you reach your goals faster. I take a humanistic, strength-based approach, meaning we focus on what makes you resilient—not what’s “wrong” with you. With the right balance of accountability and support, I’ll remind you just how strong and capable you are, helping you move toward real healing.

Your story matters. It is normal to need some help during this crazy life. You are worthy of being seen and heard for who you are—without needing to explain or justify. Every journey begins somewhere. If you are ready to take the first steps, let’s connect and get started today!

My Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University. My clinical experience includes working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. I am passionate about working with LGBTQ+, including gender-questioning and transgender, as well as those in sex- and kink-positive communities. My goal is to provide a culturally adaptive, inclusive, and affirming space for ALL.

When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m...

thrifting around Charlotte, trying out new food or coffee spots, spending time with my loved ones, going to concerts, or having movie marathons.
