Avianna H., MSW, LCSW-A

Hi, there! I'm so happy you're here. I specialize in helping 20s and 30s-somethings navigate life’s twists and stressors—whether you’re starting college, balancing student-athlete responsibilities, entering the workforce, or leveling up in your career. This season is a rollercoaster, and when you add anxiety, depression, or trauma? Whew, that’s a lot to carry alone. That’s where I come in. I’m here to help you cut through the noise, ditch the stress, set boundaries, and take control- because you deserve it.

As a compassionate and non-judgmental clinician, I am here to make you feel seen AND heard through your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. We can work together to identify patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and build your power. I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Empowerment Practice, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused modalities to support my clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma to move through life adjustments and relational challenges.

This is your life, let’s ensure that your cup is filled with joy from your own decisions. Don't waste another day living by others' rules. Let’s connect, today!

My Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in North Carolina. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Public Health from Queens University of Charlotte. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Winthrop University.

I have worked in hospitals with survivors of domestic violence and with veterans experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. I have extensive experience working with marginalized populations including women, people of color, and the LGBTQIA+ community.

When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m…

Baking, catching up with friends, curating a bomb playlist, watching a psychological thriller on Netflix, or lifting heavy weights in the gym.
