Avianna H., MSW, LCSW-A

Hi there! I'm so happy you're here. I want to give my clients a space where they can be themselves and feel safe doing so.

I'd like to extend an invitation for us to work together to explore the challenges you're facing and develop a plan to help you achieve your goals. As a compassionate and non-judgmental clinician, I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive space for you to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In our sessions, we can work together to identify patterns, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. If you're ready to take the first step towards healing and growth, I'd be honored to be your partner on this journey.

My Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in North Carolina. I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Public Health from Queens University of Charlotte and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Winthrop University. I have worked in the hospitals with survivors of domestic violence.

I have also worked with veterans experiencing severe and persistent mental illness such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I have extensive experience working with marginalized populations including women, people of color, and LGBTQIA+ community. I am here to help individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational challenges, and trauma. I utilize a variety of interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Empowerment Practice, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused modalities.

When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m…

Baking, catching up with friends, curating a bomb playlist, watching a psychological thriller on Netflix or lifting heavy weights in the gym.
