Ariel T. MA, LMFTA

Let’s be real...life can be tough. We go day by day not knowing what this beautiful world has in store for us. Your day may be filled with challenges, heartbreak, laughter, or sadness. So many different outcomes but all in all... it’s just life.

As you go through life there are many challenges that you may face but you don’t have to do it alone. I would love to walk along that journey with you. Maybe you and your significant other are arguing every day, criticizing each other, or you both aren’t feeling heard in your relationship. Maybe you are a teenager who is ready to spread your wings, speak up for yourself, be your own person, and radiate confidence everywhere you go. Or you’re a young adult who is struggling with anxiety because the world wants you to look this way, have a certain amount of money, or be in the perfect relationship. We can take the time to work together through any of these challenges and more... because YOU deserve unconditional love, happiness, individuation, and confidence. Period.

I am not going to lie…therapy with me may be a kind of fun... but we do get down to business. I want to create an authentic environment where you can let loose, not have to worry about the expectations of others, and feel safe as you conquer your goals and chase your dreams.

My Experience

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Then I achieved my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Liberty University. I have worked in both group practice and community-based settings. My ideal clients are couples, families, pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults. I work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions or adjustments, depression, and family or pre-marital/marital issues.

When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m...

Creating art, listening to my favorite playlist, hanging with my family and friends, snuggling up in a corner watching movies, traveling, or finding new eating spots.
