Jasmine B. MSW, LCSW
Life can sometimes feel like a story that’s out of our control, where the plot twists are overwhelming, the characters exhausting, and the next chapter uncertain. Anxiety, depression, and self-doubt can make it hard to feel secure in our next steps and open up about our struggles with others. As a therapist, my role is to walk alongside you in this unpredictable narrative, offering support, understanding, and a steady presence. Together, we will explore the complexities of your emotions and thoughts, helping you find clarity, balance, and a deeper connection with yourself and those around you.
I am dedicated to creating a safe space where you feel heard and supported but also challenged to become the best version of yourself. I incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore and reshape those complex thought patterns that might be holding you back, along with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to best meet your unique needs. I will utilize the power of your inner strength by taking a strength-based approach. Because let's be real, you've got grit and resilience.
With a blend of compassion, collaboration, and a bit of humor, we will work together to build the person you always wanted to be and rewrite your story. If this resonates with you, I want to thank you in advance for the opportunity to join in on your story. And, I don’t take that lightly. Let’s take that next step, I’ll be here to guide you along the way!
My Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with diverse experience in several settings including individual counseling, victim advocacy, and crisis intervention work. I earned my Bachelor's degrees in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Applied Behavioral Science (with a concentration in Community Health and Development), followed by a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on Clinical Studies—all from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk, Jayhawks!).
When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m...
outside in the sun, listening to a true crime podcast, reading a book on my Kindle, traveling, spending time with loved ones, and baking.
